This is what I've been up to for the past couple of days >> playing around with my Clip Studio Paint program...

This is a SORRY EXCUSE FOR A RED QUEEN!!! I'm so fed up with this pic, I'm so frustrated with this pic... Everything possible that could possibly go wrong, went wrong while making this... Since I have no manual for the Clip Studio, I've just had to do and redo, test and retest, make and delete while going along. The layering thing could really be somehow easier on this program since now I'm like flipping between layers, painting where I shouldn't and erasing where I shouldn't... Also, the "plain paper layer" is BS >> it comes up as a raster layer anyway! In order to have a plain white layer, I needed to chose a raster layer and then go nuts with the paint bucket on it...!

Anyways, this is the Red Queen, as a younger self. Or at least she's supposed to be. Her head is too large, her shoulders are too small (courtesy of having to ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT every time I have to make details, so I can't really see the big picture)... Also, tried utilizing the ready-made patterns available in the program... not really happy with those. The things that I want to do with them, I can't (why is there a lace option on the vectors but NOT THE CELTIC BRAID???!!! > that drove me nearly over the edge!) I could have probably worked more on her hair... but I was so fed up with this pic after spending nearly a week on it.

Also, it would be so cool if I could pre-make a background scenery and then somehow import it to be the background of another pic... but no, there isn't that option (as far as I know), so just have to dabble with layers upon layers upon layers......... :( :( :(

Any kind and encouraging words on this would be greatly appreciated. Feeling kinda bummed out right now.

Your complaints about dimensions are soooo not true. The Red Queen here is BEAUTIFUL and I love this picture so very much!
